I have ADHD, and my doctor prescribed methylphenidate, but it didn’t help me in both immediate-release and extended-release forms. Now, do I have only the option of Atomoxetine, or can I try a different brand of methylphenidate? Does the brand also matter in terms of effectiveness? Looking for multiple advices from doctors and others who have experience with this.

Brands do show some efficacy change but the wise thing is to try atomixetine and revisit the diagnosis, many a times adult ADHD is wrongly diagnosed it turn out to be anxiety disorder
