From childhood I had low blood
sugar. Till 3 months back I used to eat lots of sugary stuff on most of the day. 3 months ago on Nov last week I did a random sugar check and it showed 206.2. Then I started cutting down on sugars, did some yogic practices and checked the next day FBS showed 110 and PPBS 135. On Jan 1st week I again checked and it showed FBS 105 PPBS 110. Then I checked A1C which showed 6.3. My question is, am I still in prediabetic stage? Should I start diabetic medication, or can I just continue with lifestyle changes, exercise and diet control without resorting to medication? My goal is a complete reversal from prediabetes to normal but if I am not mistaken, at present A1C results of 6.3 show I am at risk of
diabetes.
