Shoud i get tested for Covid
My mom tested positive today and her ct value was 13. Her chest xray showed she had bronchitis. However for last 3-4 days I've been taking care of her. I tested positiev for Covid last mth and recovered in 15 days. Since I was the only one who had covid antibodies I thought I should take care of her as chances of me getting tested positive again are pretty less . She's very weak. She's having high fever of 101. So I put her in quarantine and served her . However I developed the same symptoms I had during my covid . Full weakness my legs are pulling. Fever and headache. And severe body pains. The physician who's treating my mom suggested me to get tested as well. But since I already have antibodies in me, will I get covid again ? Should I test or is this viral fever. My mom's ct score is pretty less so are there chances that even I might be positive?

If you are having symptoms, it’s best you get yourself tested and timely treatment. You can still be infected even if you have antibodies. The chances of you getting a severe infection are low, but infection is still possible.
