I can not see the distanced things and read them. I had this problem from my childhood but I got a LASIK treatment two years back in LV prasad,Banjara hills, HYD from Dr.Jagadeesh reddy. Can you explain me why this happens and do i need to wear glasses again? So, there is no use of LASIK?

I think you were using very high power before LASIK surgery, LASIK has limitation, Indian usually have corneal thickness around 500microns or less than 500.  -1D myopic correction  correction costs around 35 micron corneal thickness & corneal should not  be less than 300 micron after LASIK or Smile surgery for safety of the eye,now you can calculate how much Myopic correction can done ,doctors hide these things from patient before surgery, side effects of LASIK are not told to patients,  they should read on goggle online before undergoing surgery, with regards Dr Arjun kr Singh.

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  What was the power before the surgery and what is the power after surgery? You haven't mentioned this. I would suggest you consult the same ophthalmologist in person for further evaluation and management.  Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain. Bangalore.
