Short cervix
My wife is first time pregnat and 19 week 3 days completed. She is undergoing treatment with gynecologist .Dr. Suggest to do Anomaly scan in 5 month and after that in scan report her cervix size detect 2.7cm and dr. Suggest cervical cerclage . Is it necessary in this stage. Please guide us

Cut off is generally 2.5 cms But clinically if we feel it's small, we do a circlage
