Stool softeners should only be used occasionally, not regularly. Major dietary and lifestyle changes should be made. For the recurrent throat infection, you can check with an ENT surgeon if there needs to be any further treatment or removal of the infected tonsils. For any queries, kindly book an online consultation with me. I am a lactation consultant, IYCF (Infant and Young Child Feeding) nutrition expert with an interest in Childhood Vaccinations.
