Thank you for your question. Masturbation is good for your sexual health. You cannot lose libido or weight by masturbating. It is important however to masturbate gently and using a variety of strokes and techniques and pelvic floor exercises. It for s also important not to feel guilty or distressed when masturbating. Sexual arousal is a very powerful sensation and any emotion associated with it is easily amplified in the subconscious mind. This can lead to difficulties later. So it is important to give plenty of time, not to rush and learn to enjoy the sensations rather than hurry up to ejaculate. Poor technique is the major cause of problems like early ejaculation and inability to prolong the erection when young. So please masturbate when you are happy and to be happy. If you feel you are using masturbation excessively to deal with negativities in your life and are starting to get pain or discomfort please consult a sex therapist, counselor or psychiatrist hope this helps
