How many weeks or months of abstaining from any kind of sexual activity is advised after a vaginal infection (yeast infection turning into bacterial vaginosis) to prevent another onset of vaginal infections?
Just got context -
I had been prescribed a Clobenate-GM anti-fungal cream, then a Fluconazole-150, then Metrogyl-400 for a week, and then finally Clinright-CT vaginal capsules for a week. Only after taking the vaginal capsules there was finally relief and the infection cleared out.

Yes you need to wait for 7 days, get a vaginal swab and culture done to rule out any residual infection. Your partner should also need proper treatment to avoid re-infection.
