I understand from ur explanation that there s a decayed tooth which u need to get it corrected either by filling or an RCT and cap depending upon the extent of damage. Visit ur Dentist for an accurate diagnosis.

Have u removed any tooth before for gap to appear.If yes u need to replace.If not it's a case of decayed tooth.Depending on the extent of decay dentist will decide the line of treatment for you
