Hi...tooth pain is due to a decayed tooth in his mouth... treatment could be either a root canal or extraction of the tooth if it is beyond repair. Now the confounding factor is his bp. If his bp has increased above normal then he needs to get it under control before treatment can be initiated. A root canal still can be performed in a patient with high bp using certain precautions.however extraction could be a problem as high bp could lead to excessive bleeding. So get his bp assessed asap and visit a dentist with the report.
Please visit a dentist as soon as possible because without seeing him clinically it is not possible to say anything because pain could be because of many reasons. Don't try to treat him at home without showing him to a dentist.
Hello,
there can be a lot of reasons for the tooth ache. but as you have mentioned clearly that he is having a high blood pressure. first visit a physician then a dentist. may be pressure is generated in tooth which a dentist can release by opening up the teeth if it require a root canal.
Hi get an X ray done for the effected tooth, if it's a dental decay not involving the nerves then a simple filling can work out else a root canal treatment can save the tooth, if tooth can't be salvaged then an immediate extraction is reqd
Next Steps
Go to your dentist ASAP
