Severe sudden stomach pain
My son was complaining about stomach pain from past 2 months. He is becoming normal after antibiotics. 2 days back filter sound is done.impression written is Multiple Menestric Lymphadenopathy noted in preaortic, paraortic and right illiac fossa region of large measuring 17×10 mm with preserved fatty hilum. Please clarify what is his problem? Thanks Mom

Some enlargement of mesenteric lymph nodes is normal,given the high load of infections in India. But if multiple lymph nodes are seen,specially in presence of loss of appetite or prolonged fever,the child has to be investigated further to rule out tuberculosis of intestine. Although the commonest cause of off and on stomach pain is amoebiasis.
