Severe procrastination and no energy
I've been suffering from this for as long as I can remember. I procrastinate a lot and when it comes to doing the thing I can hardly focus for 15 min no matter what I do . I fidget a lot no matter what I do and I use the phone after every 10 mins of studying. I've got some blood work done and found that I'm Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D deficient which I'm not longer because of regular medicine doses but the situation has not improved much . I suspect I have ADHD and mild depression as well for which I would like to consult with a psychiatrist . The thing is I live in a small town where there is less scope to find a good psychiatrist so my best bet is to consult on practo . The thing I want to ask is if I consult here can I go through diagnostics via video chat and if doctors here can issue prescriptions for medicine as well . Thank You !

Your difficulties with focus, procrastination, low motivation, and mental restlessness suggest a pattern commonly seen in adult ADHD, possibly with features of mild depression. These symptoms are not simply personality flaws or poor discipline—they are linked to how the brain regulates attention, motivation, and executive function. ADHD can persist into adulthood even if it was never diagnosed in childhood. Since vitamin deficiencies have already been corrected and the core symptoms remain, it points toward a neurodevelopmental or psychiatric origin that needs proper evaluation.
Next Steps
Schedule an online video consultation with a qualified psychiatrist who is experienced in adult ADHD assessment. During the session, they can perform a structured evaluation using validated scales and clinical interviews. If ADHD or another condition is confirmed, treatment may involve behavioral strategies, medication options, and lifestyle restructuring. The psychiatrist can legally provide prescriptions through teleconsultation as per standard medical regulations. Make sure to document your symptoms in advance to help the process.
Health Tips
Establish a simple and consistent daily routine to reduce cognitive overload. Use focused work intervals with digital timers and keep distractions—especially your phone—out of reach during work sessions. Light exercise like walking or stretching improves mental alertness and energy. Reduce refined sugar and caffeine in your diet. Stick to regular sleep hours even on weekends. These small changes, combined with professional help, can significantly improve both focus and energy levels over time.
