Hello, Yes your question is simple, however I would say that the answer has some complexities and layers to it. You are suffering from Obsessive compulsive disorder and are taking treatment for the same, which I would presume is a combination of medication and psychological intervention. Let's please understand that to suggest that wether a mediation can help procrastination, will require a greater understanding and evaluation of procrastination. Procrastination may occur due to a variety of reasons which may range from personality related factors, depression, anxiety, Obsessive compulsive disorder, previous experiences with decision making, life stage and some factors like risk avoidance, novelty seeking etc. Hence a lot will need to be considered and evaluated before suggesting wether it can be treated. Then only can it be answered that wether medication or psychological intervention is a modality of choice. Hope this helps you.. Hope that I have not ended up confusing you further... Please discuss all these aspects with your psychiatrist for an in person face to face session.. Best wishes for your health and future...
