Severe pain in right ear every 30-40 day
I experience severe pain in my right ear. It happens every 30-40 days.
The pain is not internal in the ear but seems external. It lasts up to 16-20 hours and and I need to take 3-4 pain killer tabs for relief.
It is not related to wax as ear is clean.
Some doctors told me that it's allergic and some say it's joint pain. But I don't have pain in my jawline.
Also I'm careful enough not to touch/handpick my ear.
This problem is almost for 10 years now, and has now increased so much.

Your symptoms are unlikely to be because of primary ear problem and may be due to referred pain from surrounding areas. Most common cause for referred ear pain are temporo Mandibular joint dysfunction with myofacial pain, dental infections, eustachian tube dysfunction, tonsillitis and sometimes even neck myofacial pain. Identification of cause is necessary before planning any treatment
