Severe pain in gums around wisdom tooth
Pain in gums around wisdom tooth since two days throbbing pain on and off took calpol but only temporary relief is there pls suggest wat is to be done

Hi The pain around that area could be because of trauma to that area you might have chewed or bite on to something hard or because of your toothbrush . And it can also be due to lack of space in your jaws for your tooth to be completely erupted but since you are 38 you might have had similar occurrence in the past or it might be due to developing caries. Since you haven’t attached any pictures so can’t clearly say. Temporary pain relief with medication won’t help much.

Take any pain killer available at home for now and try to do warm saline rinses 2-3 times a day that would really help
