Pain can occur upto 2 weeks after root canal filling. It is mostly inflammatory pain. However if you have swelling also then get it checked as it could be due to infection that has not been treated in that tooth or some problem with the root canal. Get an X-ray done to diagnose correctly
Health Tips
Do hot water gargles with salt.

It can be due to improper cleaning of the canals and not giving them sufficient time to drain the infection. Even if filling of the canals has not been done correctly it can result in this scenario. Pain is mostly cos its now like a packed container and the infection/ pressure it exerts has nowhere to go.
Next Steps
Radiograph / Re-RCT
Health Tips
Pain killers are meant as a precaution rather than a solution in such a condition
