Severe Hairfall
I am suffering from severe hairfall and also the problem of scalpe in hair. I have under the guidance of Dr. Shiva kumar V (Dermatologist)from the last 3 months but there is no any change in the result much. He is giving me mindoxil solution and scalpe shampoo but all these things are going waste. I think main problem of hairfall is forming the fungus type scalpe on head.

Treatment is always based on detail history and clinical examination. I agree with my fellow colleague.. you need to be a bit patient  to  see if ur responding to treatment. We do provide hair treatment to control hairfall. You must give time for the treatment to be effective.

Thanks for the query. Hairfall is an increasing problem in today's society. Hair care is a daily ritual shaped by age, gender and internal health. Based on the cause of hair loss, certain specific medications can also be started. Hair fall treatment needs proper assessment to find the cause and to address it specifically. Hair fall treatments consist of arresting the hair fall and subsequently adding density and improving the texture and quality. The treatment typically consists of topical lotion (Minoxidil). You need to be patient with the treatment protocol as it takes months to see initial improvement. You must continue to use Minoxidil for a long time. Scales in your hair could be because of dandruff or some other skin condition like Seborrheic dermatitis or Scalp psoriasis. Dandruff is a common situation which can also lead to severe hairfall. It can be more problematic if you are using hair oils. So consider discontinuation of oils and using an antifungal shampoo everyday for first week and then reduce the application to twice a week for maintenance. You should keep the shampoo at-least for 5 minutes on the scalp for it to act. This should solve your problem
Next Steps
Start on biotin supplements and food rich in iron content. Use a milder shampoo and consider frequent shampooing and conditioning.
Health Tips
One needs to be patient with the treatment protocol as it takes months to see initial improvement.
