Severe gastric attacks
My wife is 20 weeks pregnant. She is having severe gastric attack. She is burping heavy and sometimes chokes her chest and shoulder blades. Is it recommended to visit gastro specialist. Mostly happens post a meal

These symptoms in pregnancy may be due to hormonal changes . Your obstetrician is the best person to treat. This will settle in time course. She can take symptomatic treatment . But nothing wrong in consulting a gastroenterologist.
