  4. Severe fever and platelet. To hospital?

Severe fever and platelet
My son Nishanth who is 1.5 yrs old is suffering from high fever. He had severe fever on Friday morning which slowly came down after meftal syrup. Fever is going high in evenings and mornings again. We did blood test yesterday evening and platelet was 217 laks but tonight its 167laks. Should he be admitted to hospital

Hello if the fever is not coming down its better to get admitted it can be also due to viral fever consult paediatrician for further evaluation and treatment.
