Severe ear pain
I had sever ear pain since more than two months last month I consulted doctor she gave me otrivin, montek l tabs and said me to do valsalva manuever as my left ear drum is depressed into middle ear , I don't get pain daily but I get it like once or twice a week very sever and when I get left ear pain i end up with left side headache hot water bag helps in making numb please help me

Instead of otrivin, take Flomist/Furamist nasal spray.
2 puffs twice a day. Take it with head leaning forward and nozzle of spray at your nostril. Take it for 15 days at least. And every time you have symptoms of cold/sneezing
Do a guarded valsalva and swallow at the end of it.
In case pain is severe take tab Calpol 650mg sos.
