  4. Severe cough. Cough has a lot of phlegm.

I have been coughing for the past two days. It's getting worse each day. Now I have a sniffling nose and weakness. Chericof is helping for a few minutes, but not more. The cough has a lot of phlegm.

You may have  an obstruction in your nose and post nasal discharge which is irritating your throat. You may need nasal decongestants and treatment of throat infection. And if necessary a CT scan on your sinuses.
