Severe backache
I've had terrible backache since 2 years..I face problem while sleeping and sitting for long hours..Some doctors said that I am suffering from scoliosis and suggested some exercises but nothing really worked..Can you please help me with this?

Scoliosis will not be helped by exercises. If you do have scoliosis it will need to be assessed if there is any problem and if it is contributing to your problem at all. Most of back pain in you are group is due to incorrect posture and due to lack of exercise. If you are seen and assessed by a Spinal Surgeon, then they can see where the problem is and appropriate investigations can be done. After this the correct treatment can be started. Hope this helps. Severe scolisosis requires surgery . Mild scolisosis can be managed with exercises and precautions. Hi.... You may be able to avoid back pain or prevent its recurrence by improving your physical condition and learning and practicing proper body mechanics.... Exercise. Regular low-impact aerobic activities — those that don't strain or jolt your back — increase strength and endurance in your back and allow your muscles to function better. Build muscle strength and flexibility. Maintain a healthy weight. Being overweight strains back muscles. If you're overweight, trimming down can prevent back pain..... ,,
