Hi there, A detailed medical and psychiatric history is always needed for every patient. In addition, a detailed mental status examination is also recommended for every patient. Why Serta was started is not clear. If the desired effects have been achieved, it can be tapered off under supervision of a mental health professional. Pregnancy is also a stressful event. Talk with your mental health professional regarding stopping or continuation of the drug. Generally, Drugs are to be avoided in the first trimester or pregnancy. So better to plan it accordingly. Pros and cons of stopping or continuation of the drugs should be addressed with the treating mental health professional as such also.
