May be your posture is not proper , it is true faulty postures causes pain, have a watch on abnormal postures, learn good ergonomic postures while working
make sure to do neck strengthening exercises

I understand that you are having this problem. Causes if neck pain can be strain,spondylosis or disclose prolapse. From your history you seem to have cervical strain. Try some excercises,precautions . Consult an Orthopaedic surgeon if you are not better
