Hello,
What is your problem first? !! A psychiatrist is a Dr. who can prescribe medicines.
On the order hand a psychologist is counsellor who would analyse your problems by listening to you and give more clarity to solve your problems by yourself with a better decision taking capacity. He or she basically motivates you .

Hi there...since you have not said any symptoms, it will depend on what your complaints are. Psychologist will only be able to councel you. Where as if you consult a psychiatrist, they will councel you. And if any treatment is needed, they can treat you also. So it is better to consult a psychiatrist.
