My mother 78 years suddenly experiencing imaginations from one week. She was saying she could see group of girls doing pooja , but she knows she is hallucinating. I came to know about this today when ,she told she saw Nepali like girl far from her like in distance of 10 ft.. Also she experienced seeing insects on floor and on pet dog , but closing her eyes fixed it.. Is it schizophrenia? Thanks in advance..

Take her to a psychiatrist for assessment and treatment. Organic reasons need to be ruled out first. Good luck
