Scleral lens are different from Normal soft contact lens as the Scleral lens rest over the sclera (the white part around the cornea) and hence are slightly bigger in size. They provide a good tear film covering over the cornea and hence better than soft lens in some circumstances. Scleral lens are not indicated for use in every patient with myopia and have some possible complications if used without proper guidance. Please do not try and use them on your own. Spectacles are much safer and there are many trendy new designs available in the market.
