Through electrotherapy the pain will be reduced and then you will be suggested with exercises depending on the improvement which helps complete reducing of pain and strengthening of muscles.
1. Not all pain are same. It needs to be evaluated properly. And also whether you are following the advice as given by your doctor. Because of availablity of different doctors/professionals.. some advise may be conflicting regarding pain.. so request to kindly follow your trusted doctor advise atleast for 6-8 weeks before going for a second opinion. Sciatica pain may resolve in about 3-6 months for most people provided no aggravating activities are performed.
