Can i cut my qpen 25 mg tablet into 2 equal halves...because the entire tablet is too high in dose for me...it is causing excessive sleepiness..so sleepy that i can't even brush or bath properly...forget about other work...nothing is written in the packet or strip regarding splitting, crushing or anything...kindly reply.

U can cut it n see no problem n try with out taking tablet also…if u can sleep vitout it …just try melatonin if u can’t sleep vitout quitipin which is better and u won’t be tat much drowsy

Yes you can. Make sure it is plain quetiapine and not sustained release. Also try taking it a little early in the night..so the sedative effect will wear off by the time you start your morning routine
