Hi
Thanks for reaching out. You are undergoing treatment for anxiety for four years and you have improved a lot. During nighttime you feel afraid. How long has it been since you feel afraid of nighttime? It seems like you could have extreme fear of darkness or nyctophobia. Consult a psychologist and explain about fear of darkness. With a psychologist you can explain about symptoms, lifestyle, sleep pattern, and if you are afraid of going out when it is dark outside you can talk about it with a psychologist.
With the help of counselling sessions, you can gradually work on overcoming fear of darkness. A psychologist will guide you on how you can manage anxiety and feel calm. There will come a time when you will feel comfortable as evening approaches.

It's understandable that experiencing fear and sadness as evening approaches is concerning. While you're already undergoing anxiety treatment not sure if you are currently in therapy it might be beneficial to discuss this specific issue in your therapy sessions. As it plays a crucial role in addressing various aspects of mental health concerns, and discussing specific symptoms or changes in your feelings can help identify the root cause.
Nighttime fears may have specific triggers or underlying factors that need exploration. Therapists can provide coping strategies, identify patterns, and offer valuable insights into managing these emotions. If you're not yet in therapy, it could be a good time to consider it.
Remember, therapy is a supportive space to work through challenges, and your therapist can tailor strategies to your unique situation. You can connect with me through Mind Sculpt, my company for online counselling sessions.
