Scar on hand
I have got this mark after a road bike accident on 13th June 22 on my left wrist. Image below is from now. Will this mark ever go compltely? This is a bit itchy at times and pains at times. My age is 29 yrs

Hii.. Usually scars takes very long time maynot completely clear.. Best treatment is laser treatment with satisfying results.. Protect from sun exposure Take antioxidants and scarend silicon gel apply twice daily.. Kindly consult on-line for better information and prescription

It can be a hypertrophic scar post trauma. Multiple management options are available which can be explained to you by a dermatologist. As far as itching is concerned it can be easily managed.

We need to do a proper examination of the scar and diagnose it. Once the diagnosis is done , we can decide the line of action. Topical steroid based creams may be required or even local injections can be given to reduce the scar .  You can visit the clinic or do an online consultation for the same .

No, it won't go away by it's own. Fractional co2 laser and Hexilak gel - 5 min unidirectional massage for 3 weeks will work to settle this but completely normal skin is not possible unless you undergo surgery for the same.
