Scar management
I recently had a major accident and had a zygomatic facial fracture.i got it repaired but I got a scar due to the accident on my face.i have been prescribed CONTRACTUBEX for fading the scar..but I being myself an mbbs graduate have read at places that silicone gels and sheets are better for fading the scar than mederma or CONTRACTUBEX that contain onion extract and allantoin..can anyone please suggest me whether I should go ahead with CONTRACTUBEX or use biocorneum which is a silicone gel based cream and silicone sheets for the scar.

Yes silicon gel sheet is a good option. Also using appropriate massage technique is good for reducing scar.

It's better.. however treatment depends on the severity of scar.....Do direct private online consultation for detailed prescription by sending photos.
