Accident scars
Hello doctor. i have accident marks on the left side of my face on the cheek and near the eye. Though the hardness of the scar has come down, it has left a marks. I have attached the pic. Is this because of pigmentation? Would melanil cream help in reducing this? I want to avoid procedures like laser as much as possible

Hi thanks for the query..what you have on the face is post inflammatory pigmentation..it eventually faded away over period of time with the right treatment.meet a dermatologist in person to discuss treatment options.you can get in touch with me on Practo direct.melanil cream is marketed as "anti spot cream".please discuss about it with the doctor who has prescribed it to you.hope this helps.
