Scar above my right eye brow
I fell down from my bike 6 months back and I had few stitches exactly above my right eyebrow. I consulted a dermatologist after 1 month of that accident and she told to use vaniza silicon gel and cica plast. I am using them continuously from that period and I noticed a little bit improvement on scar now. Do i have to follow the same or can i use any scar removal gels like Mederma etc..

Hi There are a lot of treatment options for scars available as of today. The treatment depends on the duration of scar and facilities available. The advance treatment option includes Fractional CO2 lasers in multiple sessions. Topical medications may be of little use and will supplement laser treatment.Other treatment option include dermaroller.
Next Steps
Fractional CO2 lasers work best for acne scars.
