Same Dreams that come often

I dream about the same person (a friend of mine) who meant a lot to me few years back. His dreams comes often. Even though I don't think about him, my mind can't stop thinking about him in dreams, I am fed up, how should I stop this? Does that mean he's thinking of me Everytime I dream of him?
