Salt intake issue
Hi all, last 1 weeks unfortunately I have taken too much Salt in my food . Now I am maintaining. My question is last 7 to 10 days I have taken too much Salt in my food, so it will cause kidney issues? I am fearing this issue.pls help me

Pls check bp, rft, sodium and potassium. Unlikely that 7 to 10 days of salt intake will cause kidney issues

Hi Salt per se won’t cause kidney injury. It may increase your BP and accumulate fluid in body if you have pre existing kidney disease. Check your kidney function tests
