Safety of Cremaffin plus.
Hi all,
I had an anal fissure and the doctor prescribed me cremaffin plus 2 spoons a day for 2 months. Is it safe to consume it for 2 months or will this lead to long term complications and laxative dependence?

Yes cremafin can be taken for few months period it is safe. But there should not be any diarrhoea. Fissure treatment is a little difficult. Any incomplete treatment can cause re-appearance of disease.

diet is very very important. a detailed planned diet is needed based on high fibres, and plenty of fluids.
