Rupturing of eggs
I am on my second cycle of hydrotubation on day 6 and followed by folliculometry...i have been operated for pcod in january this year. Ideally on which day does the egg rupture?? n what effect does taking an hcg injection have? i am currently on duphaston 10 mg since day 14 of my cycle..n i have been having evacure for the past two months..please help

Hello..
Release of eggs varies according to length of cycle & it is unpredictable to some extent in cases of PCOS ..
It will be best to go for folliculometry from day 10 of cycle on alternate days to monitor the growth of eggs..
Hcg injection mainly helps in the release of eggs from ovary ..
Usually egg release occurs about 32 to 36 hours after Hcg infection..
