My father aged 71 is having running nose and dry cough for last 1 week i have tried home remedies but it is not helping nor has it deteriorated He is not having fever Can please prescribe some medications for it

Take a trial with 1) Tab Solvin- 1tab three times a day for 5 days. 2) Tab Taxim-o - 1 tab twice daily for 3 days. 3) Cap Becosule1 cap daily for 10 days. 4) Tab Lecope-M - 1 tab daily  for 5 days.5) To drop mustard oil into both nostrils ( nose) -in the morning before bath and night at bed time. 6) Hot saline gargle. Note- If he is diabetic go for his treatment.
