My baby girl 2 year 4 months old. From yesterday night she's having mild cold. Can I put nasivion drops? I don't know whether it can be used for kids. Last time I used neoclick. But I did not get that brand now in market. My doubt is, in nasivion the benzalkonium chloride solution is 0.03% whereas in neoclick its 0.01. I'm confused. Pls tell what to use?? I gave her steaming. I'm afraid that cold would trigger seizures. She's already on seizures medication
Normal saline drops ( nasoclear ) are generally good enough to clear nasal blockage.
You can use an antihistaminic cough syrup that will also help with nasal discharge. But it's best to get a consult to know share more details on symptoms before prescription.
If she has a history of seizures, you should avoid self medicating.
Next Steps
try nasoclear and seek a consult if she still has nasal blockade or cough and fever.
