Rt hip pain,

Rt hip pain,

Asked for Female, 71 Years

Female, 70 Fell on lt hip, severe pain, no discoloration. Hosp X Ray negative, results contusion. 48 hours later still severe pain when attempting to stand. Have been icing 4 times a day, when can I expect pain to subside and when can I start moving or exercise leg.

If X-ray is normal nothing much to worry. Contusion in soft tissue will take time to resolve and depends on severity. It might take 2 to 3 weeks.
