Restoration of the Root canal treated tooth is very important as it has impact on the long-term prognosis of tooth. Due to loss of huge amount of tooth structure there is decreased occlusal load carrying capacity of the root canal treated tooth. Therefore, posts are essentially indicated for the root canal treated teeth to prevent fracture of the remaining tooth structure and to prevent tooth loss in future.Recent studies have shown that Fibre posts are better than metal ones. The pricing varies with the quality and can be discussed with the consulting dentist
Next Steps
Go for immediate root canal ,post and core and finally a crown
Health Tips
Any delay can lead to further fracture of the tooth due to caries and occlusal load and it might not be restored back in future
