Root canal tooth paining .
Had my rct on Saturday for molar 7 . It had four canals . But it is very painful even now . Taking one nimsaid p daily . Till when will pain stay .

Well take ur medication properly after rct n if pain doesnt subscides after a week visit ur dentist

Usually after a root canal,there can be slight discomfort in the area for a few days to almost a week...if you have taken your post treat ment medications regularly and followed your dentist's instructions, it should be okay in a week...

if the pain dosent subside even after two weeks please meet your dentist..

avoid chewing from the affected side till pain comes down..try warm salt water gargle for a week..

There can be many cause of pain after a RCT. Like crown might not have been reduced occlusally or infection might not have been cleaned properly. Wait for 2 more days if the pain is dull in nature, if pain subsides, no need of taking further medicine and if it doesn't or if it is a severe one then you should consult your dentist ASAP.

Take ur medication properly nd do warm saline rinses (lukewarm water with pinch of salt) dont chew food from that side for a week
