This medicine has NO role in curing cold and cough,only a preventive one,and that too if given for a long time. Just give steam inhalations for cold and cough and decongestant nasal drops for nasal block or increased cough on lying down. If accompanied by other symptoms like wheezing or breathlessness,consult your paediatrician asap.
