Ringworm & Bumps on face
I got dark greyish itchy patch under my breasts, under left arm and on thigh near groin on 23rd oct 2016. As on same day my granny passed away i couldnt go to doctor. So i tried home remedies like turmeric, ice, lacto calamine , ring gaurd, kailash jeevan and cold water bath, dermicool powder for 15 days. And also Allercet tablet thinking it of allergy. Even sat in AC / fan to remain cool & clean. Then i went to a skin specialist who told me it is ringworm and she gave me Ebernet cream, Abzorb powder & Allercet-L. I avoided oily, spicy food and followed everything. But yesterday (7 days after my Periods) i got small bumps on my face and forehead which arent going. Even my ringworm are itchy and i dont see any improvement. I am a thyroid patient so i take Thyronorm 50mcg. My weight is 75kg. Age 24. My mom dad had got ringworm near groin area but theirs is not as much as mine without going to doctor. Intitially my cousin and aunt had for 6 months. Please help i am scared to get it on face

Fungal infection is becoming an increasing problem due to misdiagnosis and wrong treatment with OTC medications. To add to the problem, many combination tubes are easily available in market and there is no regulation on the sale. They make the fungal infection a permanent problem though it may provide temporary relief. Please see a dermatologist as some extra medications are co-prescribed many a times to treat this complicated fungal infection. If needed a simple skin test can also be done to confirm the diagnosis. Till then use only over-the-counter anti-allergic medications to control itching. Personal hygiene should be good. Wear loose fitting clothes.
Next Steps
Your dermatologist will decide a treatment plan for you after a consultation.
