Yes this is ringworm or dermatophytosis which is the scientific name. Please consult a nearby dermatologist for further treatment. This is a fungal infection which is easy to treat, but sadly, it is becoming resistant to therapy these days. Bit with proper duration of treatment, it should resolve.
