Right nostril slight redness in the nose
Redness in the right nostril and slight pain from outside on the right nostril itself. It was quite painful last couple of days but has subsided over time .. What could the matter be . I have applied coconut oil today 3 to 4 times and felt it started getting slightly better

You might be suffering from acute infection of the hair follicles of the external part of nasal cavity which is known as furuncle. If it is very painful then a course of antibiotics is required. Avoid using coconut oil as it can act as media for bacterial growth
Next Steps
Consult nearby ENT specialist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required
