Right Hilar Congestion
Hello doctors, my husband did x-ray for employment purpose. His xray shows ( pls refer to the attached images). It says right hilar congestion he is not coughing but he has cold. Any medicine you can recommend or advise what to do to remove this right hilar congestion as he has to go abroad and he needs the medical report. Thank you

Once cold is better, can do a repeat cxr and see. In cxr take in full inspiration that will avoid erroneous report.

Hilar congestion might be due to cold. However its better to get evaluated with additional tests like CT scan, especially when planning to go abroad.

Pl take an antibiotic,and montair lc, 1tab in night for 10 days. Take pulmoclear syrup, 2tsf 3times a day. Is he a smoker. Pl consult Pulmonologist with detailed history and with reports and treatment taken.
