Incomplete information and need to see the foot actually. As the patient is taking medication for sugar it might be dangerous to ignore the swelling consult a surgeon soon. Diabetics may injure their foot without even knowing of how the injury is caused.if there is some infection it can be deadly if not taken care of appropriately. Consult soon
