Right eye number increasd. Is safe.

My mother used to wear spectacles of number - 2.0D in each eye. Till last checkup she was having headache so she visited doctor, at that time she came to know that her right eye number has been increased aggressively, and her right eye number jumped to - 12.00D,To which doctor suggested her to wear spectacles of -8.00D in the right eye. My question is should we go for LASIK surgery as there is a major diff in the number of both eye. And if yes please suggest good Dr. In delhi, bhopal, indore. And do's and don'ts before surgery and everything related to surgery. And alternative to the surgery if there is any. And how much will the surgery will cost for an eye and most important thing is the surgery is safe. Thanks in advance.
